If you find that your earring back is slightly loose, here's a quick fix you can try at home:

  • If the earring back is loose: Gently squeeze the loops of the earring back together between your thumb and forefinger. Then try it on the earring post again.
  • If you need to widen the earring back: Use a credit card to gently pry the loops apart.

This simple method can be used for all your earrings to ensure a secure fit.

Ordering

If you have a gift card that you would like to use for your order with Latelita, simply include the gift card code when you place your order. Rest assured, we do receive and apply your gift card to your purchase.

If there are any issues with the delivery address for your Latelita order, please contact customer care immediately. We will work with the courier service to amend and update your address details so that your parcel can be re-delivered to you in a timely manner.

If you have received a faulty/damaged item, our sincerest apologies for the inconvenience. We understand that receiving a product that doesn't meet your expectations can be disappointing. Please return the item via the normal returns process. Upon receiving the faulty item, we will examine it, and if you would like a replacement, we will endeavor to match the product as closely as possible to the original. If you prefer a refund instead, simply indicate your choice on the return portal.

Subscription discount codes from Latelita are typically not applicable to sale items since they have already received a price reduction. The discount codes are meant to be used on full-priced, non-discounted products.

If you are interested in purchasing a specific item from Latelita and would like to know the current stock count, please contact us directly. Although our website displays the available stock, we can also alert you if additional stock becomes available, especially in the event of returns, and reserve items for you if needed.

Unfortunately, different discounts or promotional offers cannot be combined on the same Latelita order. You may use each discount code separately on non-sale items. For more details, please refer to our terms and conditions.

     Gold-plated items have a layer of 18ct gold over sterling silver, while sterling silver items are made of 925 sterling silver.

  29. What does 18ct plated mean?
     It means a layer of 18-carat gold is applied over the sterling silver base.
  30. Are your products nickel-free?
     Yes, all our products are nickel-free and hypoallergenic.

All Latelita pieces come with 6 months warranty against manufacturing defects. Such defects occur within the first few times the piece is worn and such items are replaced free of charge.

Please note that our warranty does not cover the following:

*Loss or accidental damage

*Damage from regular wear and tear. This includes broken chains and clasps, scratches, dropped stones.

*Damage from improper use or storage (pulled chains, bent studs, lost earring backs, dropped items, oxidation due to improper storage)

*Items purchased through 3rd party retailers. Please reach out to the retailer directly to get further assistance.

We offer repair service for all* items at a cost of £25+VAT. In cases where an item is not possible to be repaired we may offer a replacement item free of charge.

* All items that are still available for sale on our website. Discontinued items are not included in this offer.

Silver Jewellery Care & Maintenance

Latelita jewellery is made from high quality 925 Sterling Silver and Gold-plated sterling silver and with proper care and maintenance it will last a lifetime.

A good rule of thumb is to let the jewellery be the last thing you put on in the morning and the first thing you remove in the evening.

Sterling silver is prone to tarnishing, use a silver polishing cloth regularly to prevent tarnish from forming. Anti tarnish papers are also recommended.

Store your jewellery in a zip lock bag as this will prevent scratches and tarnishing when your jewellery is not being worn. Remove your jewellery when showering, swimming or applying perfumes and lotions – this will also prevent tarnishing.

Make sure to remove your jewellery out of the presentation box as soon as you receive your item and place it in a zip lock bag for storage if you are not going to wear it immediately. Extended periods of being kept inside the presentation box  may cause your item(s) to tarnish due to moisture in the air.

Polishing 

Sterling silver is an active element and is prone to tarnishing; a dulling that naturally occurs when silver reacts with sulphur or hydrogen sulphide in the ambient air,(or inside the presentation box) and care should be taken to avoid the build-up of tarnish. Polishing the sterling silver regularly with a silver polishing cloth will prevent the tarnish from forming and keep the high shine of the sterling silver intact. However, it will not remove scratches. If your jewellery is tarnished you can clean it with Goddards Long Term Silver Polish Cloth and bring it back to its first day shine.

Cleaning your jewellery

A safe way to clean most jewellery is to pour a small amount of a mild liquid soap in lukewarm water and use a small, soft brush. Toothbrushes are ideal for cleaning jewellery which can otherwise be difficult to clean. If the jewellery is very dirty, leave it to soak for about 10 minutes. Rinse with clean water and pat dry with a soft, clean cloth.

Silver polishing liquids and silver dips

Silver polishing liquids are definitely not recommended.  Mild silver dips (like Goddard’s Silver Dip) are recommended for tarnished items but should be used with extra care as they may destroy the oxidised details present on some Latelita designs. Silver dip can be used as long as it is rinsed away completely. If residue dip solution remains on especially the clasps and chains it may eventually destroy the look of your jewellery piece.

Oxidised sterling silver

Oxidised details (darker areas on the design) are found on some Latelita sterling silver pieces. To preserve the oxidation, do not polish the jewellery aggressively as it will wear away the oxidised finish. Oxidised sterling silver and sterling silver with oxidised details should not be subjected to silver polishing liquids, silver dips and ultrasonic cleaning.

The oxidised finish will disappear with time and this is not considered a defect, but a natural result of wear and tear. The oxidised finish can be reapplied by a goldsmith.

Plated jewellery

For daily care, wipe the jewellery gently with a soft cloth. Do not polish the item aggressively as it will only serve to wear away the plating. Avoid contact with abrasive or rough surfaces as a scratch may cut through the plated surface. Do not expose to silver polishing liquids and ultrasonic cleaning.

The plated finish will wear away over time. This is considered normal wear and tear rather than a defect. It is possible for a goldsmith to re-plate the jewellery item. Protecting your jewellery

Corrosion of jewellery occurs under moist or wet conditions, especially when also exposed to warmth and air. Perspiration from jewellery wear is a common cause of corrosion. Jewellery should never be worn in the bath, while swimming, in the sauna or when participating in sports.

Do not expose the jewellery to contact with make-up, hairsprays, creams and perfumes as they can speed up the tarnishing process. Avoid exposing your jewellery to household chemicals including bleach and ammonia as they can damage the metals.

Storage

Make sure to remove your jewellery out of the presentation box as soon as you receive your item and place it in a zip lock bag for storage if you are not going to wear it immediately. Extended periods of being kept inside the presentation box may cause your item(s) to tarnish due to oxidisation.

To minimise scratches and other damage, store the jewellery separately in a tarnish-resistant pouch, or in a separate compartment in a protective box. It will minimise scratches and other damage and prevent tarnish.

It is recommended that Latelita jewellery is either put in a small zip lock bag inside the box provided or that silica gel packets or anti-tarnish strips are added to the box, as they will absorb the moisture etc from the air and slow down the tarnishing process.

At Latelita, only one discount can be applied for each purchase. Welcome discounts or other similar coupons cannot be used on already discounted items. However, you can save them for future purchases on non-sale items. Remember, sale items have already been reduced in price and this is taken into consideration with our discount policy.

If you received an item that did not meet your expectations or wish to return it for any reason, you can start the exchange or refund process with Latelita (including earrings):

  1. Follow the instructions on our returns portal.
  2. Use the original packaging where possible.

Depending on your preference, expressed in the return instructions, we will arrange for an exchange or refund once the item is back in UK and has been reviewed. Items shipped to our collection centres in Sarasota,US and Bitterfield-Wolfen, DE may take slightly longer to process after being delivered with the tracking provided by our portal.

All Sample Sale items are non refundable. Items can be exchanged for alternative products or store credit only. 

To initiate a return for an item you have purchased from Latelita, please follow these steps:

  1. Visit our returns portal 
  2. Create your prepaid return label following the instructions provided.
  3. Ensure that the item is returned in its original packaging, securely placed between the 2 inserts provided.
  4. Post your parcel using the label provided (or your own label) within the 14-day return period.

Your refund will be processed once we receive and inspect the returned item. If you encounter any issues with the portal or require further assistance, please reach out to Latelita Customer Care.

Deliveryh

We strive to deliver all orders within 1-20 working days if the items are in stock. If the items you order are "Out of Stock," we will dispatch the order as soon as the product becomes available. Should we be unable to source the item, we will contact you to inform you of this.

All domestic orders will be shipped in our signature Latelita packaging, enclosed within a non-transparent, non-branded, waterproof grey plastic bag. Each parcel is dispatched via a trackable delivery service, requiring either a signature upon receipt or photographic evidence of delivery with GPS confirmation, depending on the parcel's value. If you reside in a block of flats, we cannot ensure the safety of your delivered parcels in communal areas, and you accept the associated risks. Royal Mail will deliver parcels according to their procedures, and we cannot be held liable for parcels that are stolen or lost post-delivery. You will be notified of your delivery tracking via SMS and/or email. Please make alternative arrangements if you will not be available at the expected delivery time, either by adjusting your delivery date via the Royal Mail website or ensuring someone is available to collect your parcel. The same risks apply if you reside in a house. We do not accept liability for items delivered to communal areas.

Multiple SAMPLE SALE orders will be shipped in a single signature Latelita packaging. Domestic orders below £75 will attract a shipment charge of £4.99, and international deliveries below the minimum treshold will attract the relevant shipment charge as mentioned on our shipping policy.  

All heavily reduced items 
(above or equal to %30), end of season sales and sample sales items are non-refundable. Items may be exchanged for alternative products or store credit only.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the country of delivery.

Advertised delivery times are estimated based on information provided by our contracted carriers, depending on the country and service class selected, and are not guaranteed. Customs authorities may hold a parcel for as long as necessary before clearance is completed. Customs clearance waiting times are beyond our control and cannot be counted towards estimated delivery times. If your postal address falls within a Remote Area, delivery times may be significantly longer. No refunds will be issued for Express Delivery charges if the estimated delivery times cannot be met.

We include the cost of all duties and taxes in your order (DDP) for the following countries: UK, USA, AU, AT, BE, BG, CA, CH, HR, CY, CZ, DE, DK, EE, ES, FI, FR, GR, HU, IE, HK, IL, IS, JP, IT, LA, LT, LU, MT, MC, NL, NO, NZ, PL, RO, SA, SE, SG, SL, SK, UAE, ZA, BH, KR, CN, OM.

For NO and CH, we offer both DDP and DAP delivery services at checkout, allowing you to choose whether to pay duties and taxes in advance.

If you are ordering from outside the listed destinations, the price you pay will exclude all relevant duties and taxes. As the recipient of the order, you will need to pay any import duties and taxes directly to the carrier to release your order from customs. We cannot advise on the exact amount and recommend you contact your local customs office/tax authority before placing an order.

Cancellation

You may cancel an order provided the goods have not been dispatched. Our terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights.

Refusing Delivery

If you refuse to accept delivery of all or part of your order (where the products or packaging do not appear to be damaged or defective), you will be responsible for the postage charges. Any fees and charges incurred by the retailer due to a package being refused will be deducted from your merchandise refund. This will also apply if delivery has been attempted, and the item is awaiting collection from a postal depot, and the item is not collected.

Offer/Discount Codes

All offer codes are applied to the order value, excluding delivery costs, and are subject to our general Terms and Conditions.

The offer code must be entered in the Voucher Code field on the checkout page for the discount to be applied to the order. Unless stated otherwise, discounts cannot be combined, and only one offer can be applied to any order.

The newsletter sign-up discount on your first order is not automatically applied. On your first checkout from our webstore, you need to enter the voucher code received via email. This offer cannot be combined with other offers and is not valid for already discounted items or during campaign periods such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday, Winter Sales, Summer Sales, Sample Sales, and Flash Sales periods. Generally, different marketing offers cannot be combined on a single order.

Delivery

We aim to deliver all orders within 2-7 days if the goods are in stock. If the goods you order are “Out of Stock” we will send out the order to you as soon as the product becomes available again. If we cannot source the item we will contact you to inform you.

All our regular orders are sent in our signature Latelita packaging and sent via recorded delivery, with a signature required on receipt.

Multiple SAMPLE SALE orders will be shipped in a single signature Latelita packaging. Orders below £19 will be levied a shipment charge of £3.99 for domestic deliveries and £6.99 for international deliveries. 

Shipping is calculated based on country of delivery.

Duties & Taxes

We include the cost of all duties and taxes in your order (DDP), so you won't need to pay any additional fees if you are located in any of the following countries:

Pre/After Sales Support

If you're interested in an item that's currently out of stock, please visit our website and click on the product. There you can sign up to receive notifications when the item is back in inventory. Our estimates indicate that out-of-stock items should be available again by the middle of the indicated month.

To use your sign-up discount code at Latelita, apply the code at checkout for an extra percentage off. Keep in mind that the discount only applies to items that are not already on sale or discounted. Happy shopping!

To receive a discount on your first order, simply sign up on our website. Upon signing up, you'll receive an email to confirm your subscription. Click on the link provided to confirm your subscription. Then you will receive another email that contains a personalised discount code for your initial purchase. Furthermore, we'll keep you updated via email about any upcoming sales or promotions.

If you forgot to apply a discount code to your recent purchase, you don't need to worry. We can create a refund for the discounted amount back to your original payment method. Please contact us at [email protected] 

After your order has been packed and shipped, you will receive a tracking link. You can use this link to monitor the delivery status of your parcel via the responsible courier service, ensuring you know exactly when to expect your delivery.

If you need a prepaid label for your return, follow these steps:

  1. Access our returns portal
  2. Enter your order number and postcode to generate your prepaid return label.

Unfortunately, if the portal is not working, please contact customer care for alternative ways to receive your prepaid label and ensure a prompt refund for eligible returns.

If you have placed an order with Latelita and have not received it or would like to request a refund for other reasons, please contact our customer care team at [email protected]. If the order has already been delivered and signed for, we may provide proofs such as a signature and delivery confirmation. For refunds, we will process your request promptly after reviewing the circumstances of your order.

Please reach out to Latelita Customer Care if you wish to find out who sent you a gift. Due to data protection regulations, we can only disclose a limited amount of information, but we'll do our best to assist you within those constraints.
